i what to be adopted,am a Ugandan aged 21years old,
have never had parental love since my childhood,
i really need someone who will love me like the way my

I was adopted the night I was born. I can’t imagine my life without my adoptive mom. I would probably be homeless if it weren’t for my parents. They have provided me with so much. I can never express enough gratitude for this blessing.

I was adopted as an adult at the age of 21. I had just gotten married and my father passed away from cancer. I was raised by my father, my biological mother being out of the picture for many years. I guess I was feeling a litte adrift and it showed to those around me. A wonderful woman, who had been a family friend and a personal friend for many years, approached me and explained that she had always thought of me as ‘the daughter she never had’. She asked me what I thought about her taking steps to legally adopt me. Well, I thought it was a great idea. So we went to the courthouse and talked to the judge in his chambers, signed some papers and it was done. It was only in the months after that that I realized how much joy was in my life because of her actions. Her love means so much to me, in big and small ways. I celebrate Mother’s Day now, making up for what I didn’t have in my childhood. And we remember both my birth date and my adoption date, which is good fun too. It took me awhile to call her Mom instead of her first name, which I had called her for many years. And I still sometimes slip. But she doesn’t mind. She’s my mother. And she’s still my very good friend too. And the emotion in her voice when she calls me her ‘beautiful daughter’ brings tears to my eyes. The whole experience changed my life for the better. Adoption is one of the most special things in the world.

i’m mahmoud i’m seventeen and i’m lebanease ,seriously what can a hoping guy needs to say for bieng adopted ,i’m a guy raised without a father and i did’nt even see my father because he died at same day i’v born .I have raised to be a strugler person and to have my own responsebilty .I till now figured that my country is not for a student or a man wants bieng a sucessfull person in futuer , it’s only to be a fighter and to kill or to be killed so my benefit is to go and seek for another country another place where i am, to acheive my own goal and to achive my dad’s goal.He is dead but i have a strange feeling that if i do a begening that helps me and helps him to see his boy growing up and being closer to be an important person in society even if it’s not my own society he will be such greatfull father and i’ll be proud of my self.I’ll make the new family mine one to be a more proud of me coz they made me proud.
