I’m trying a completely new health regime as of today.

Weight this morning was 10 STONE 8LB. (I’m 5 Ft 2” so for my height I’m classed as overweight.)

I was up at 5:45 this morning and I worked out for an hour on the EA Active for the Nintendo Wii. It’s better then nothing and when I lost weight before this worked for me. Fingers Crossed. 4 months ago

Started yesterday and weighed myself in the morning, current weight is 15 stone 5 pounds (don’t tell anyone) I will weigh myself once a week on a Monday morning and report the results. Hopefully the first stone won’t take to long to lose (fingers crossed) 4 months ago

Today I had a shock as I found out my scales were weighing me in at half a stone lighter than I really was so now I am on a mission!!

I’ve signed up to myfitnesspal to log my calorie intake and exercise.

I would like to lose 1 pound a week.

My first mini goal is to be 9 stone which I want to achieve by 7th January – my official weigh in day will be Monday morning (knowing that I’m weighing on Monday will hopefully stop me binging at the weekend!) although I generally weigh myself every day anyway…

Today I ate/drank

Beans & poached egg on toast (343 kcal)
Black coffee x 2 (
10 kcal)
Bubble & Squeak (500 kcal)
Advent Calendar Choc (
23 kcal)
Yoghurt (120 kcal)

Lots of water

JamtonWell....

I haven’t posted for a LONG time. I have not lost anywhere near a stone, but I’m not 11 stone anymore at least! Last time I checked I was around 10st 9lbs.

I’ve had a pretty tough time with regards to my body, I got rushed into hospital because of a severe bowel illness and I’ve had various other ailments, so for the past 2-3 months my body has been doing all sorts of crazy shit haha!

My body finally seems to be settling down, so I’m back on the diet wagon, but I seem to be doing OK at least. I’ve just got into a new relationship, and I’m very happy, but I’m not certain whether this will help or hinder my attempts haha. On the one hand, there’s less in the way of comfort eating, as my therapy has worked really well, going into hospital put a lot into perspective, and getting into a relationship with a wonderfully loving person has made me generally very happy. HOWEVER, from experience, new relationships often come with large quantities of food and drink and enjoyment… So I’m sure we’ll soon find out haha!
