How I did it: I had a really stubborn keloid on my nose stud, and i just had to continually use tea tree oil and vitamin E oil treatments to it. Also hot sea salt water soaks were miracles.first add sea salt and water and heat it up, use a cotton ball and soak your nose. do it until the water turns cold. WARM WATER not HOT. your nose will burn if you use hot water.after, take a q-tip and dip it in some tea tree oil, and apply it to the keloid, putting … Read how I did it…
How I did it: The compression therapy really works and well. Just by using the clip-on earrings one keloid is almost gone and the other kidda burst. It bleed a lot and that's a good thing, just clean it with surgical alcohol( nice tip: when appling the alcohol do so in front of a fan so the wind can cool it quickly and it doesn't burn as much), leave off the clip on earrings for a couple hours and then put them back on to prevent the keloid from reform… Read how I did it…

hi, i have keloid scar in my chest and iam very selfconscious about it, in the past i tried injections but was very painful and expensive, is there another remedy or cover upmake up?
I have a keloid on my navel right after i took my navel ring out. My body rejected the ring and literally pushed it out towards the surface of my navel…I really want to get rid of this hideous thing.
I hope this helps someone out there. I had a piercing on my ear and it got infected which lead to the formation of a keloid. I really scared the shit outta me. I tried tea tree oil and it really worked well, the bump got smaller but it still remained. Right now I’m trying a combination of pressure therapy ( just buy a nice pair of clip-on earrings it will work just fine) and apply some scar gel daily. For those of you who like me are not great fans of the clip-on earrings just use a little cotton wool at the front and back to cushion the skin. It hurts alot in the beginning so try it with a little parcetamol or panadol but then you get used to it. The scar gel seems to make the scar a little softer but not smaller so far, but to be fair they say you must use it continuousely for at least 3-6 months before you see any change. The compression of the ear has reduced the bump significantly though. It has formed a new layer of skin underneath so i’m keeping my fingers crossed that all goes well. I hope this helps someone out there since I too scoured the webs for help when it first occured and found this useful information. Kudos to you all!
I’ve been reading the posts about tea tree oil on keloids. I found information about mixing tea tree oil (fights infection) with lavender oil (anti-inflammatory) on the “earthclinic” website and it does seem to help. It at least makes them itch and hurt a lot less and seems to soften them up as well (mine are around twelve years old). My problem is that I have a hard time getting in the habit of applying it every day – I think if I did it every day or a few times a day, I might have much better results.
I also need to research these oils to see if they need to be diluted. I hear that most essential oils should be diluted or you’ll develop allergies to them. If they work on keloids I sure don’t want to become allergic!! :)
A few years ago, my cat dug their claws across my chest, about 1 1/2 inches. And my mom, claims it left a keloid scar. I was wondering if anyone else had the same problem, and i was wondering what some of my choices are for treatment…..
I got my tragus pierced last month and about 2 weeks ago i noticed a keloid scar in the outer part of my piercing..looks like its very common..am i too late for pure tea tree oil?? i just ordered some anyways..what else can it help with?
I’ve had keloids for 2 years and a few recent ones to add to the collection from boils that I’ve had. They were so severe that I had permanent scarring on my legs and even on my butt. I just ordered the Pure Tea Tree Oil off Amazon.com for about $4 ($6 with shipment) and I’m just waiting for the delivery and the results. I’m very happy to see that you all have found something that worked, or will work, for yall and I just hope that it does the same for me and my spots. I almost went to surgical procedures to get these ugly scars removed, it’s just such an emotional-self conscious thing for me to have these scars. I can’t wear what I want when I want, I always wear pants, and I hate for my boyfriend to touch me or see me with those marks. It makes me un comfortable, and sometimes I even cry because I see other girls with perfect skin on thier legs and butt area and I just feel so embarrassed…So I just hope that this treatment is the answer to my prayers….thanks again for the help and I’ll keep yall posted on results….
I’ve had what I think is a keloid (small, hard shiny lump) on the back of what used to be a cartilage piercing for about 2 years now, does anyone think/ know if its too late for me to try using tea tree oil? please help im really self conscious about it!
