So the people I work with all went out together for farewell drinks for some of team. Kareoke was the order of the evening. Because I’m such an attention whore I just had to jump up there and have a go. So a bunch of us girls all got up there and did a Pussycat Dolls song. Apparently it counts cause I held the microphone and sung and danced around. So that’s all there is folks, I like kareoke and I’ll likely do it again.
How to sing kareoke
How I did it: Casual night out on the town, passing by a bar and the bouncers said 'hey girls, we got kareoke' so we thought, hey why not! so a bunch of us signed up and we went for it! i didn't really know the song but it was great to finally do it! ive always wanted to sing gloria gaynor i will survive (i will get there for a solo one day!!) but still, finally faced the fear of getting up and singing in front of randoms and it was ace! :) x

i imagine this is similar to how i was always afraid of getting in the pool when i was a kid, and after spending an entire afternoon on the edge of the pool, my mother would have to eventually push me in. and then i never wanted to get out.
i probably won’t be sober, and i haven’t picked the right song yet, but this WILL happen this summer
I have been doing this for 1yr. now and I love it very much My husband and I run kareoke and love seeing people come out of a shell. We say at some point everyone wants to be a rockstar. Thats how we got our name Rockstar
i think the best thing about this was that i never knew koreatown could be so fun. double the pleasure was seeing my quiet brother get into metallica so much.
It’s best to build up the courage by singing with a group of people first. I love singing and I could have done it by myself the first time but I need that comfort of being in a group first. Karaoke helped me overcome my stage fright. Don’t be scared to try it.
