What a deal

My brother and I were in the Royal Palace, and a friend of ours who lived there decided to walk around town by the palace since he had already seen it several times. We were afterwards planning on taking a river taxi, so on our way out I commissioned one from a man waiting for tourists to prey on. When he offered to knock a couple hundred Baht off, I thought I had made a pretty good deal. He wanted to charge us 500B and when I found my friend, he laughed, and then said we could get on one for about 20 Baht. That guy followed us around for quite a while, he thought he had us!
