I was born again when I was 13 years old. A lot of people these days talk a lot about being spiritual, but few want to be specific about what they really believe in. I’m not a Bible thumper by any stretch, but I have some deep core beliefs and the main one is that Jesus is my savior and died for me. That thought is almost overwhelming to me. I can’t imagine NOT believing that or how anyone can turn away the gift that it brings with it. It’s my core. And for anyone out there who wants that, it only takes a prayer. One simple prayer to acknowledge that you do believe Christ died for you and you accept His wonderful gift of forgiveness, salvation and everlasting life. That’s all it takes. Of course, you should also seek out others who share your beliefs whether it’s a church or a study group – just to help you learn and grow.
