    It Saved My Sister's Life! 3 years ago

    Two years ago – April 19, 2004 – I donated the equivilant to bone marrow (stem cells), to my sister who was battling leukemia. I had just given birth 2 months before & I can tell you that the 5 hours or so that it took to donate were WAY easier than the 24 hours of hard labor! I can’t explain how much personal satisfaction I got out of just sitting there and giving something that my body was producing anyways. I can proudly say that I gave life twice in one year & that anyone who signs up to do this is most likely going to save someones life who really needs it. Visit www.marrow.org!!!
