A friend took me out to the woods near the Arkansas border last night. We sat in the woods, deer tracks all around. The sky was still bright with pink and blue, but the forest was dark.
The full moon was high in the sky and chorus of coyotes filled the cool air.
No deer. No coyotes. Would have had plenty of squirrels if I brought my .22.

I want to learn how to shoot turkey with a crossbow or bow. Also to be proficient in archery.
I used to be a hardcore vegetarian for 5 years but now I’m a flexitarian who loves fish, turkey, and chicken. I want to learn how to fish.

This year was my first hunting season. I hunted deer, but saw nothing. I went on a guided duck hunt and bagged 3 grey ducks and 2 teal. What a great time!
Because I deer hunt from the ground with a lever action 30-30 with iron sights, I need to learn to better track the deer.

I’ve been learning to hunt with a bow for a few years. Still not very good. Stalking to within a few metres of a wild animal is tricky.
