I have already done this, but it was only to the small island called Corfu. I want to go to all the large islands. I figure this will take several weeks or months to go to them all, but I have a lifetime and plan on having plenty of time once I retire at 40.

My reasons for saying I want to go to Greece is more of a general statement thing in our house. Ever since I saw Shirley Valentine, everytime everything gets too much for me with the kids,my husband, my family or all the other problems, I would say that I am going to Greece and just leave them all a poster on the kitchen cabinet! This has now become the saying in our family if they know I am hassled and upset. My children are grownup now, but still they do it. Sometimes when all take me for granted and don’t even see ME anymore I honestly feel like packing and going. Now I have decided that before I am 52 yrs old I am definitely going. And I am writing a plan for it. Wish me luck.
ever since I saw Ginger and Cinnamon. The film is largely set in Ios, which looks absolutely amazing. I want to go island hopping a bit, see as much of the mainland as possible, Athens, EAT like crazy.
I may have a chunk of money coming my way, so my partner and I are planning a trip for next summer!

We went to zante..I have to say, it was a bit of a crap hole. I’m still glad we went, much needed break. I’d like to go back and go somewhere nicer. I wanted to see the shipwreck…which also wasnt what i expected, but still glad i went
I have always been fascinated by all sorts of mythology, but especially Greek. To just have a single glimpse of the Parthenon… I would be beyond thrilled. This part of the world is rooted in so much history and culture, I can only imagine what it would be like to see it beyond a photograph.
I’m a college student right now and I know this is going to take me several years to accomplish, but it’s something wonderful to look forward to nonetheless.
I have dreamed of Greece since I was a little girl. Something draws me there. I look forward to discovering what Greece has to offer.
