But I feel like if I don’t get it before the baby is born (early May at the soonest) then I NEVER will. Weird thought, but I think it’s a good goal to have, because it would definately delay them if I don’t. So- I WILL HAVE MY GED BEFORE OUR BABY IS BORN!
Even though I hopefully will be putting off starting college ANOTHER year, because I want to stay home with the baby after he’s born. I mean, I’ll never get that time back.

You have to be a resident of the state of Florida for six months to get your GED here :/

I may have to, to work and support myself, and to work on my CDA, so that I can work in the only field I know. But maybe online classes this fall, if I give up sleeping?

And NOT gotten my GED in the almost whole school year since I moved out on my own. The GED center is closed during the summer. I really feel like a lazy bum, exactly what my whole family thinks of me. I didn’t even try. Instead I got a job and have been supporting myself. But I could have been going to the center once or twice a week after work, and gotten it done by now. I can’t change that now. But I’ve got to really look at how I screwed around, face it and give myself the deserved hell over it. Or I may not be standing inside the center on the first day of school in August.

I’m not, honestly. I work 7:30am to 5:30pm, and thats all. I’ve been making no effort to go to classes when I get off work.

Still Working
On Math. Half-way through the planned review. The teacher says that when I finish this, (hopefully by end of next week) I will retake the placement test. IF my scores on that are high enough, I will take the practice GED test there at the school. IF those scores are high enough, then I go to a testing center to take the GED exam. That’s alot of “if”s though. I’m setting my goal for going take the exam as September 17th (a Wensday).

12.9 for English, 10.8 for math. So, I’m nearly ready for to take the GED. Worked on math for three hours today. Gonna do the same tomorrow. Hopefully, that will be all the work I have to do for math. If that goes well, then I need to take another placement test, then the GED practice test, then the GED itself. Of course, thats considering I do very well on each one.

Ok, well, today I went for my first day of class. Ended up not even finishing the math portion of the test. Thats annoying, veryyy annoying. It wasn’t that it was soo hard. Just had a really hard time actually just sitting still and doing it. I went to the afternoon shift, so didn’t have to be there till 12:15. Thats the awesome part. But, yea, I’m nervous to hear tomorrow what my scores are after I finish. Very nervous, honestly. Just this fear that the scores are going to say that I’m stupid, basically.
