i called a voice teacher and am setting up a meet and greet with him soon! I’m very nervous but excited, as well!

It’s great! I’ve taken almost 10 lessons now and my voice is really improving. Loving it

... but it progressed from there! I highly recommend voice lessons, whether you’re a singer from way back (which I am) or new to the whole idea. I learned so much and had the joy of bringing singing back into my life! Yeah! (Thanks Ross!)
well, i took classical lessons in college. but now I would like to take lessons focusing on a more contemporary/broadway style of singing.
Ahh singing. our own built in instruments. It’s time i tuned my up :)
I am always so shy. People have to beg me to sing before I open my mouth. They say I have a great voice and I remember when I was younger before I smoked and quit and before messing up my life a bit, I used to be able to sing everything, even opera, people were amazed. But I feel that I’ve lost a lot of it and that if I take the lessons I’m bound to get it back. Cheer me to go and DO IT!!
i go to a music school, and i sing in chorale as a first soprano. i love singing, more than i love horn or trumpet, but i dont have the courage to swap just yet. also its expensive.
maybe i can do it after year 12.
I used to sing in a choir as a soprano and I really enjoyed it… until I got into high school and I felt like I was too old to be around a bunch of 11 year old girls. Plus, my taste in music never really coincided with what we sang, and I became something of a music eliteist.
Now i’m older and I still love to sing but I know I have lost a lot of ability and tone, and I’ve done a lot of damage to my voice. Hopefully I can find someone in Nevada I like that I can get some lessons from. If I have time…

“I know I'm not tone deaf (I'm a piccolo/flute player.) but I'm a horrible singer. If I am a horrible singer, but have musical background, could I take lessons to learn how to sing well? Would it help my poor vocal range?”
