If I’m going to be a teacher I really have to improve. My greatest fear is sending the kids home spelling something the wrong way. A lot of the time it’s my own doubt. I’ll ask someone how to spell a word and realize that I was going to spell it correctly.

I think I have made a little progress on this. Typing a lot helps because there are some words I don’t know how to spell, and then I check them or the computer shows that it is misspelled. (Like it just did for misspelled, lol!) Also, I would like to broaden my vocabulary. I have been doing this a little by subscribing to get the dictionary e-mails where I get a word a day and the definition.

This is one of my goals, so I can write without worrying that I have made a mistake – I even got my other half to write this!! :)
