I just feel like I play too much, especially when I feel down. I could be doing something just as enjoyable and more productive. I haven’t played anything in the past few days which is good.

I also only put around 20 hours a week into games, but since I’m a mother of 3 whose husband works out of town two weeks out of every month, it can really total up to a lot of lost sleep and unfinished housework. I admit I’m a bit addicted, but when I try to quit games cold-turkey it usually doesn’t work because my husband main hobby when home is gaming. So I feel bad that I’m not spending time with him and get back into them again. Then, when he’s off to work I’m hooked again. I’m getting really tired of this cycle..
On average I have 15-20 hours a week put into video games. I know it isn’t that much compared to others out there but for me it is beginning to get in the way. Next week I plan to start the Video Game Weekend only thing and see if it helps.
I own a 360 and really do like it, but it is pretty much a waste of time when playing for long periods of time. What i really hate are the acheivements, they mean nothing and represent and prove very little. This week i have been playing much much less and must say that i feel it is a very good feeling. I will keep this habit up and continue it from this day on…no doubt about it.
while some are fun, they consume a lot of time that could be used doing something more beneficial.
For some reason I’m just tired of the whole video game thing. I can sometimes go weeks without turning the box on and I intend to keep it that way.
Now, what to do with all the free time…:)

I decided to stop playing World of Warcraft recently and play less video games in general and it really has done wonders for me. I’ve been focusing more on schoolwork, my friends, and my fiance. It’s been great.
