pose for a photo shoot

Favorite so far (they’re not all finished yet, but have been coming to me in batches).

I had so much fun doing this! It was awkward at times, and I found it difficult to keep a straight face. The proofs are already uploaded to a special page that only I can see. We took 500 shots! I can’t wait to see what my friend does with them, he likes to change them to black and white and add a spooky element to the edges – hard to explain.

Posted is my favorite (accidental) proof. I will post a link to the finished set when it’s ready.

This goal wont stay on here long, because I am actually set to pose for a friend of mine tomorrow. I thought it would be interesting to document it on here. I’m pretty nervous – this is the first time I’ve ever done anything like this. I generally stay away from cameras whenever possible, and any other time I’ve been asked to do so I’ve responded with a vociferous “HELL NO!” This time the response was more like, “Oh, what the hell? Sure!” Gotta try everything once I suppose.

The friend taking the pictures has been doing a series called “Cemetary Girls” so I will be photographed for that series in the Piedmont Cemetery tomorrow. This is going to be weeeeeeeeird. Stay tuned for an update, and later on the photos themselves!
