43 Things on productivity — 1 day ago
As 43 Things is a very goal-oriented blog, it’s natural that productivity is discussed quite a bit.
I mentioned Getting Things Done. I fooled around with it a bit and decided it wasn’t for me.
Then I saw a related goal on my decluttering goal regarding Ta-da lists. I took a look at that. Seemed promising, and I sent it to my wife.
I looked at the site again and then saw a link to a service called Backpack which seemed more promising. In short, it extends upon Ta-da’s to-do lists by adding spots for pictures, calendars, and downloadable files.
This looks like it might work very well with Mozilla’s Prism, which uses the XUL protocol through the XULrunner independent runtime. It’s oft used for Google applications like Gmail and Google Docs, and it can run websites as an empty browser—like Backpack.
I’ll have to give it a test.
EDIT: Scratch that—Backpack is not free! Big problem there with that. But I could still likely integrate Ta-da with Prism.
