have my wisdom tooth pulled out

OK…so I’ve had 2 more wisdom teeth pulled. All very similar to the first. 2 pricks of the needle…wait 30 minutes to completely numb up and yank with a pair of pliers for 3 minutes then another to for 3 minutes. A total of no more the 7 minutes and they were out! I’ve been doing them one at a time. I recommend this if you can. Its so much easier as you can chew on the opposite side of your mouth. It just takes a little longer.

I also got a cavity filled the last one. I just got dental insurance after 5 years! OMG….if I ever loose it I’ll never go that long again. My mouth feels clean and fresh….NO MORE MISTER YUCK MOUTH!

I should get this last one pulled after I get married in July…thus completing my odyssey I set out on 9 months ago.

Get the anesthesia and you’re fine. i was knocked out and when i woke up it was done. I was really sore for about 2 days, but after a week all was fine. thank goodness for the vicadin though.

It took maybe 3 minutes tops…it’s the day after now. Took a T3 (although I could probably do without it). And I feel fine! In fact I feel great!

I saw that ugly thing…1/3 of it had cracked off…it was heavily decayed…and it had an abscess that was constantly infected for the last 2 to 3 years causing my lymph nodes to be swollen and more recently a constant sore throat and fever.

I should have done it earlier! Now I just need to get the other three removed.

Sadly, they came in perfectly…but space was so small that they were hard to brush…and developed cavities…the top two were so bad that they cracked.

Soon all will be OK. I’m getting the other top one removed next month…and so on and so on…. They will all be removed by the end of the year.

it’s intense i love meditating at the dentist esp. during extreme situations as tooth extraction i may have a higher pain threshold than some… :>

with one previously removed i havent had the enthusiasm of going back for the other, I know i should but damn ouuccchhhhh
