become a mortician

how do u become a mortician and is it hard to be one?

Mortuary science has fascinated me for along time. Helping people has always been important to me and what better way to help people than in their time of morning? Funeral directors do more than just embalm, they are taking care of peoples loved ones for the last time, bringing closure to families that are grieving. Besides…how cool would it be to drive a hearse? I’ll tell you how cool. Pretty freakin darn cool.

I’ve been fascinated by death and what comes after it ever since I first found out what it actually meant. I want to learn as much about it before it’s my turn, and what better way to do that than to be surrounded by it? I also think I would be good at helping the grieving families.

im fixing on chilling with the dead cause i really cant stand the living so what better of a job then this??

I know im only a teen but ive got part of my future planed. i want to go to college in Milwaukee (its closest to home) and i want to become a mortician.
so any morticians out there tell me i should know for becoming one.
oh and i live right across from a funeral home so i could walk to work :) lol

im 16 now but ive always wanted to become a mortician, ever since i was about 7…my friends think im a freak but i just love it….im planning on studying it after school….im really looking forward to it

i’m going to study forensics science at this university i got accepted by. hopefully i’ll get to be a coroner one day.

I really want to become a Coroner but with the planning of my family and moving around so much I thought a Mortician would be easier on my family and me.
I just need to know what schools to go to and see if it can be done with me moving so much.

I have always wanted to be a doctor so I could help people, but why not work in a morgue to help get me through college? I know I’d have weird hours anyway, so why not put it to use? I’m sick of working retail and plastering a smile on my face trying to sell teens $100 jeans. I hope I make it!
