buy new furniture

So I decided to make my dinning room into a library instead. So now I’m on the prowl for some cool bookshelves.

I have picked out everything I want to purchase. I’ve had the pages folded for a month now. I know where I want everything to go. I want the ivory bench for the bathroom, the faux gold console table for the hallway, the wrought iron candles to frame the wrought iron grills, and the lighted curio to go in the corner of the family room. I’ll purchase the big fake fern for the family room here in town. What am I waitng on!

I ordered a living room chair and ottoman, mattress set for my bed and set up delivery for one dresser. I have another dresser and nightstand on back order. It will feel good to have it all in order. Then I just have to consentrate on finishing the walls in the dining room so that I can figure out what to put in that room furnature wise.

After buying my house it was time to fill it up with some furnture. So I got bed sets for me and my kids. I ordered my dressers and now I just have to figure out what I’m getting for the dining room and get a chair for the living room and I can cross this one off!

the baby’s stuff is here. there are still a few missing pieces, but nothing i need right now and i’m pretty much done with this goal. there are so many other things to take care of now. we’ve got a living room, dining room, office, baby’s room, bathrooms completed, and bedroom essentials. it took us 8 months, but we did it!

i get my son’s room together. we should be getting much of his furniture in order these next couple of weeks. it still leaves us without our own bedroom set, but we have a bed and a place for clothes and i’m not particularly anxious to get a bedroom set. once Naeem’s furniture is here, i’d want to move on to other financial endeavors. we’ll get a bedroom set eventually, but eh… i’d rather pay off my cars and go on trips. in the making already is a trip to the east coast in september, a trip to solvang (again) in october, a trip to hawaii in january, a trip to vegas in the early spring time, and a trip to the east coast again next summer. travelling is definitely a bigger priority to me than a bedroom set.

yay i got my couches! now all i need is like a tv.. a bed.. patio furniture.. yep.

Got the last of my furniture items as a gift, so this ones getting signed off! Everythings matching and looks great. Im very happy.

since my brother will be here on either wed. or thurs. i’m going to buy some furni when he gets here so that he can help me move it. yuh! =]

We took our rebate check and bought new living room furniture and a new dining room table and chairs. Yeaaaah!
