organize pictures

I worked on this goal a little last night. I organized them by putting them in folders so when I eventually get an album to put them in, it will go very smoothly. I still have boxes, bags, and albums to go through. I will accomplish this goal very soon.

I started organizing my pictures… and I am still working on scanning and sorting at this point. I am just dealing with my childhood pictures right now. After I am finished with my picture project for my brother I am going to start working on my childrens pictures.

Today… I got baby albums Today. I want to put my childrens pictures of their birth in the books. I am going to put hospital pictures, bringing them home and all the pictures surrounding thier arrival, and then also copy them on DVD to actually put in the books.

I am going to make them a baby scrapbook too. I started to work on my sons. That was 2 years ago :( I have to get one for my daughter. I have a scrapbooking date scheduled with my friend jennifer. I have to decide what I am going to work on.

I am still going to continue to work on organizing pictures of my childhood. I have to start scanning old pictures of when I was child into the computer. I am so upset about doing all this work in the first place. This is a parent job. Children should not have to sort/organize pictures to give to a sibling. It should already be done. Thats my mother. But as I am writing this, I am remembering that my husband has no pictures of him as a child either. His mother has pictures in boxes… I believe she once said.. “the pictures are in there in the closet, make copies of what you want”. I thought this was very rude and wrong but everything happens for a reason and I believe the reason is so my kids can definitely have nice pictures to take with them when they are settled in life.

I just find it more pressuring to organize things for my children. I want them to have things for when they move or I’m not around.
I have to work on their baby books.

Little by little… Day by Day. Reminding myself greatness does not happen over night.

There is just so many pictures… I hope I keep up with my organizational process and not half way through the task ask myself “What the hell am I doing”.

My goal is to give my brother pictures and a CD of the family pictures. So I have to start organizing them. Starting tonight.

Well, I started with my most recent. I bought yet another scrapbook and filled it with all my most recent photos in order and up to date with a small description and date under each photo. Also, my brother in law emailed me this website called shutterfly and I can upload all my new digital photos on there. NOW to start the Backlog!! YIKES!

Upload all pictures to the picture database that Greg suggested to me. Most importantly try to have my friends send my pic that I don’t have.

On my husband and my 15th anniversary I bought a scrapbooking kit. That was June 21, 2008. I started entries but havent gotten very far. I seem to get side tracked easily.

I will achieve this goal soon.

Ok… my first project that I have to get done is cleaning out the room that will be the new nursery. While I was sorting through the junk that was on the guest bed. I found of course several pictures. I have pictures now in piles in various places.

By the end of the week I will send my dad the 5×7 and 8×10 pictures he has been asking for.

By next friday I will at least have my pictures organized in the appropriate piles to have them organized neatly in some way.
