As of December 2007, I FINALLY paid off all 18k of my credit card debt! It’s an amazing feeling to know that I no longer have to worry about all that interest accumulating or about a bad credit rating. Now I can focus on some other new financial goals that I’d like to start working on for the new year.

i tink of maybe getting a loan for a car and put my credit card bills on the loan, i will only one payment and one interest rate.
could be a good plan
The most important is to pay your bills on time. Otherwise your interest rate would sky-scrape! Besides it is of vital importance to pay not only the minimum payment but as much as you can. If you can’t you should cut your spending. Don’t buy things that you can’t afford. Make it as a rule, it really works!
I have a few little balances on things, but nothing super major. I just paid off my biggest credit card and it feels good! I almost want to say that this goal has been accomplished, but I’m just going to hold on to it for awhile longer. ;)
I paid off all my credit cards and my car last year! I do have a couple of cards that I still use but I pay them off each month now. I had to learn to live within my means and what I can afford to pay off each month. I had to go to a financial recovery class and I am proud to say I now teach there. I now have a repreave from my shopaholism.
I was paying on time before for my credit card bills but last June this year, I was hospitalized for a long time due to heart problems and that was the time when my finances got crazy. My medication is very expensive so i was left with no choice but to leave my bills for a while. Now, I’m burdened with the fact that I am long overdue and I have to pay all the outstanding balances which is really hard on my part. I want some help on how to fix these problem.
