I currently work at a law firm in atlanta, and the experience has enhanced my drive of becoming a lawyer. After i finish my gen ed classes i plan to attend law school (possibly at Georgia State so i do not have to quit my job) Im very interested in family law, so i want to be a defense attorney in that field.
Well I’m in high school right now and my plan is to go to law school and became a lawyer. The road will be tough, but I know I can do it.
I want to become a lawyer. Since I’m already in college I need to study for the LSAT and make sure I keep getting good grades. I need to get pumped and start focusing, for I have lost focus.
two of my uncles are lawyers.
For years people have told me i would be a lawyer because i don’t stop until i get my way.
True.
However, i am almost smart and make the best of every situation.
i wish i could say something smart or cute, but hey i had schoo ltoday and im tired!
shorty19 is at school dealing with ppl i dont like
i wanna become a lawyer but ppl at school tell me that i wont make it that i would be better off tring to become a fashion queen. so should i tell these ppl off or just get over it?
jerebel trying to embrace her new single life....again.
I know that I was born to be an attorney. I want to practice family law. I want to be a children’s advocate attorney. However, in the past month or so, I’m doubting my ability to get into and make it through law school. With the situation at home, with my 2 boys…one diagnosed with 6 disabilities and the other going for an evaluation on Thursday…I don’t see how I’ll ever make it.
Any single moms/dads, parents, parents of disabled kids that have put themselves through law school? I really need a realistic view of what I’m walking into. Or walking away from.
Right, I start my second year of my law degree in september, so I’m on my way… I just realised that this is the only career I can imagine having (I know, sad, right?) but this was not on my list until now. I’d love to be a barrister (attorney), but I know in the UK it costs around £10,000+, and I’m cool with being a solicitor, which is the alternative. I’m starting criminal law next year, and really looking forward.
