My brother and son helped. First time I’ve made beer in about 17 years. I hope to make another batch in two weeks.
Knock on wood. Still need to transfer it to a glass carboy, then bottle and cap. I hope it tastes like beer.
Update: Bottled and capped forty something bottles on July 4th. 12 and 22 oz sizes. Tastes pretty good. Not much of a kick, but that’s OK. It’ll be ready to drink around July 18th.

There’s nothing like the taste of a fresh beer (or 5).

The first batch I made wound up delicious, smooth and yummy. The next two…not so much (one had chunks). But then I tried again and it worked! Practice, practice, practice!

I just recently got into making beer, only 2 months ago. I have just bottled my 3rd batch, which is an apricot ale, and it should be ready to drink in less than a week
