How to meet someone new

How I did it: My friend knew this guy, and he contacted me on msn. He seemed really nice. He eventually wanted to meet me in person, so I got my friends to come with me and he brought a friend as well and we all went to the movies. Lessons & tips: Don't be afraid to get out there and meet someone new. You never know, you might end up being really good friends with this person. If you're meeting someone for the first time and you feel nervous or uncomfortable or whatever, take a friend with you.

It’s a great feeling when you just randomly start conversation with people you meet in the grocery store or at the park walking their dogs. It always puts me in a better mood when it happens. I want to find that but it’s hard when you are a naturally quiet person. You gotta break out of the shell. SMILE! =)

I have to climb out of this rut that I have been occupiyng for the last few years.
I’ve had the same friends, with the same faces, and the same nonsense for the last 3 years; and thus far, it hasn’t “flicked my bean,” so to speak.
