encourage the world to have a spendfree tuesday...

I’ve been doing well with this one, sometimes I’ve needed stuff for dinner, but thats it.

I tried, I just keep forgetting!! Oh well, I’ll just have to fight globalisation some other way…

I saw this on someone elses and i love the spirit of it. I love that we could really hurt the corporations with a swift blow to the hip pocket.

I really dont think this goal will make much of an impact on the world unless I can encourage other people to adopt it also. Otherwise it’s just me, not shopping for a day.

In Australia, the price of fuel, milk, bread and banana’s are just a few things that are skyrocketing out of control. It’s now cheaper to just grab take-away than it is to make a nice meal at home with fresh ingredients…the government dont care, and I cant seem to find many people that do. $12.00 for a Kilo of Banana’s is outrageous and I dont understand how people can sit back like they do!!

Just for one day a week, it would be great to see no or little money change hands. Pack your lunches, carpool, get fuel for the car on Monday, stay away from malls! Think of the statement that would make to Corporations, to stop taking consumers for granted!!
