We were supposed to check in at the Concierge level; dh sweetly gave up the room on that floor to someone else
We lost the marble baths and terry robes and so on,
but we still had the Concierge privileges
which included the lounge with breakfast in the morning and lovely desserts in the evening.
We picked the hotel b/c of the proximity to the business venue we were attending-it was tough for me to walk too far, but it was sooooooo worth it!
