I watched something with Mark Harmon solving crimes and was very disappointed. (Not in Mr. Harmon in particular [although the hairstyle could use a little freshening up], but in all of the I-assume-relatively-talented people responsible for writing, producing, and editing a program for primetime network television.)
I also watched a few bits of ‘American Idol’ which is truly the death of shame. I cringed and am not sure that that is the point of the show or not.

‘24’ programme.
As I anticipated it is a very dramatic show. Staredowns! Wobbly camera shots! Quick cuts! Intense whispering! Some kind of terribly bad shit about to go down that I can’t quite follow! Digital clocks!

and the shows that they watch. It sounds infinitely fascinating.
I use my television as a sports window and a thing to plug a PS2 into. I also sometimes watch movies about robots that can transform into cars and trucks and stuff like that. But my roommate has a television and I hear that television running all the time. I hear dramatic dialogue at times. Other times I hear intense music. Other times I hear the type of laughter that only a ventriloquist (or someone getting hit in the ‘nads by bat-wielding todder) can trigger.
I stand around the watercooler at the office for watercooler talk, but gaze mutely as chums backslap and say ‘Cartman chandler house, doogie screech probst with the stars.’ I feel like I’m missing something grand.
I think I’ll start with something called “Deal or no Deal”.

It’s actually pretty good! I tackled two of my goals here, one was watching more TV (but I’m making sure I don’t watch too much), and was making more friends. I hung out with a new friend today for the first time, and he turned me on to Family Guy, showing me the show because he likes it so much. It’s pretty cool, and so is he. :)

Thanks for the tips and ideas! Those are great! I’ll have to look up what channels they’re on and what times they’re on. :) Hooray that we have IO Digital Cable in this house! :D

Cause everything on TV seems to bore me! I’m 18 but don’t really watch it that much, so I feel awkward when my friends talk about their favorite shows with me. I don’t know what they mean, and then they look at me like I have two heads. All my friends like reality TV, so maybe I’ll try that. Hmm… All I’ve been watching is Rosanne (which I don’t like cause it’s so bad) and news (which is good for knowing what’s going on in the world, but not good for entertainment).
