Josh ...and life just rolls on like a river.
My brother-in-law got me this game for my DS (it’s actually a gameboy advance game, but it plays in the DS, as well). It’s the next game in the series if you’re going by when they were released (it’s was super nintendo game originally). Anyways, I started it last night, and it was a lot of fun. Hopefully I beat this one without too much trouble and then it’ll be on to the next one.

Josh ...and life just rolls on like a river.
I’ve played almost all of them before, but I’ve only beaten the first two games (the ones on the original Nintendo system). I’m not sure if I’m going to try to beat them in the order they came out, or if I’m just going to play them in a random order. I’ve really been wanting to play through Windwaker and Twilight Princess on my Wii (Windwaker is a gamecube game but it will play on my Wii, too), so I’m not really sure how I’m going to go about it.

It’s shameful of me that the only Zelda game I’ve completed is Ocarina of Time =(. Once I get Twilight Princess and my Wii (next week!) and completed that I’m gonna start straight from the beginning.

Can’t wait for Twilight Princess and the Phantom Hourglass!
Still not making much progress going back with them. Still stuck on the final bloddy Minish cap battle, fought Vaati in like three forms already and this best be the last one!
Water temple on OoT and Jabu’s belly on OoA..alweays with the water lol.
Havn’t picked up LA or MM for ages and ages, same with OoS.
Aftere exams, then get down to it.

I am not, nor have I ever been, a gamer.. But I have always wanted to complete the Zelda Series.
So about a week ago I pulled out ye old Nintendo and started at the original Ledgend Of Zelda.. Only to have that ancient grey box eat my saved game after a couple days worth of playing. This makes for an angry Jeffy.
I have an Emulator, like a good little pirate, but I really love the feel of the original Nintendo controllers.. Or more so hate the side winder cheep-o thing I bought and I’m not willing to drop the bucks on a better pc controller.. Anyway, did a little digging and found a site that sells old school Nintendo Controllers that have been upgraded to use USB ports. A geeks wet dream. Obviously I bought one strait away.
Just got said controller in the mail and it feels just like the real thing. Hot.
Onward with the Quest!

I’ve now finished every Zelda from the original on the NES to the CDI games, (which were painful to play, seriously)

Zelda I and II have yet to receive a Pachian thrashing, and there are still plenty of pieces of heart in the Wind Waker that elude me. There’s that piece of heart you get for getting all the figurines in the Minish Cap, but Iiiiiii won’t be losing much sleep if the world ends before I get that one licked. heh.
