It was early this morning, and it started to rain. I looked outside and jumped up from my chair, dashed outside, and was dancing and jumping in puddles for a good hour before my sister called me inside.
I definitely recommend this. I felt like a six year old, but it was so worth it. It was a ton of fun.

Next time it rains I will go outside and just frolic (great word!) and jump in the puddles. I haven’t done this in years. And sometimes it just feels good to jump in a puddle. Hehe.

I’ve decided that since I’ve been a lifelong resident of Washington State with most of that time in Seattle, I have become an excellent avoider of puddles and water. A second summer is approaching with this goal being incomplete, but I’ll probably eventually dread all this sun and crave some puddles to avoid and maybe even jump into one for joy when it pours rain again in Seattle.

just jump in a puddle every now and then…don’t worry about how wet you might get or how dirty it is…just do it!!!! it feels so good and makes me feel like a kid at heart-even though i’m not that old. it’s a good way to stay grounded (not grounded in the bad way!!!LOL)
