CabeRenee It's been so long, I forgot my password ~ Is anybody still using 43T?
My husband and I sat down with a pile of our favorite magazines and began piecing together our vision board puzzles. I have to say, it was a very enlightening process, which opened our minds like we were children. They both ended up a reflection of our lives… what I lacked in mine, he made up for in his. It is nice to have two boards that mean something to both of us in our home. We’ve placed them side-by-side on the mantel & when I do my daily workouts, I set it right in front of me so that my mind can soak up all the wonderful images I have found for it. I also put it on my desktop so that I can be reminded of it every day!

Two more blankets – they aren’t as great as I expected, but I am getting better. I am giving them as birthday gifts this year.

I have always wanted to learn this craft. I have finally purchased a few balls of yarn and some patterns, so hopefully one day soon, I will be able to show something off on here :)

One of the most important boxes that I am packing for my move is my creative supplies. Model clay, paints of various colors and textures, balls of cashmere yarn, needles and old spools of thread that were my mom’s. From clippings from my favorite magazines for collages, to journals and blank canvas… I hope to continue to hold precious time to pursue these talents in my new environment. Hobbies hold a far more important role in a person’s life. They hold the key to one’s dreams and can unlock the treasure within your soul.

With my new creative photography burst, I’ve decided to use bits of what I photograph with our company and make them calendars to mark their visit with us. For example, on the 4th of July, I composed several pictues taken of that day of various people and printed out the month of July for each guest. They loved it, so I am doing it now each time we have out of town guests.

I enjoy ‘composing’ music to play on the piano as a hobby. I am not a composer by any means, but it’s a fun way to experiment with chords and get some practicing in. To get myself motivated, I printed off some free sheet music from the internet – some classic pieces as well as jazz to get some variety in my playing.

To choose from so many projects is a paradox. I have so many things that I want to do / finish… beading, painting, piano, composing, writing…
The boxes are beginning to become unpacked and I can finally pull out my beloved crafts. It’s funny, the first thing I packed is the most needed in my life. Now that we’re not moving, I feel comfort in having these outlets in my life.
