split my tongue

I’m 7 days into splitting (via tie-off).

It’s very exciting!

I am a little pissed off with myself that i wont do this DIY style… But knowing my luck i’ll probably find a vein that shouldn’t even be there :op
Plus it does tend to grow back together TOO quickly when you do it yourself.
So i MUST wait :o( Until i get the cash.. My body piercer will do this for me… ONCE i can afford to pay him.

Ok… Checking myself out in the mirror the other day (as i do when i’m bored or stoned)... poking my tongue out and i had a vision of my tongue split and i have to say… I think it would look MORE fucking awesome than i had imagined before… and the fangs i plan on getting will add to the effect. This is starting to be a serious need… As soon as i have the finance/ luck or whatever i will do this IMMEDIATELY… No fear… just the feeling of an ultimate BUZZ.

OK, i chickened out of doing it myself with a scalpel :o( when i made this a personal challenge for myself and i didn’t manage to do it on time… BUT i have found the answer to my prayers :o) There is a guy who will do this for me once i have the money…. soooooo
1. GET A JOB
2. WAIT FOR THE MONEY TO HIT MY ACCOUNT :o)
3. SLIT MY TONGUE OPEN :oD

8 years after i first saw someone with the “lizard tongue” (as the press like to call it) and now i will finally have my own :o)

I have wanted to split my tongue for about 8 years now, but due to the fact i could never find anyone to do it where i previously lived i have now found a place that will do this for me.. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY:o) It is not going to be as expensive as i thought it would be :o) So now when i get a new job, this will be one of the first things i will get done :o)

My tongue split hasn’t changed my life, but is still a great experience that I’ve went throught. Pain wasn’t that bad, healing ok… just a pain to eat for the first days/week. But I can’t get over the funny feeling that my tongue is doing in my mouth now.

I know a couple of people with this done and I’ve been doing a fair bit of research into. I’d like to find somewhere that does scalpel/suturing as it tends to get a nicer, rounded result.

I already have a 6mm tongue bar so I’d be at little to no risk of closure (without a large gauge piercing apparently you can get up to 70% closure if the wound isn’t kept open-what a waste!)

I’m currently looking into places relatively close to Birmingham to get it done =]

Because life is to short to stop me for doing things just for the eyes of the others, just because life’s an experimentation… just because I want to.

i was first intrigued by mention of this in 2001. that’s SEVEN YEARS of having this kick around in my head. during those years i’ve mentioned it here at least twice- at this point it’s probably safe to say that i won’t regret it.

the date i talked about in my last post has come and gone (but only by a couple of weeks) so this is a definite go. the only thing i’m waiting on is funding and for the right person to tag along with me.

I will do this, but I can’t for a while.
