I joined at 17 and then spent years on active duty and then years in the reserves. I had some incredible experiences that could have come by no other means, but when the opportunity came along—again—to get out… I did.

I do not regret joining the Army but was ready to leave when my ETS date arrived. I was in Desert Storm when they asked me if I wanted to reenlist. LOL!
I’ve been there, for a long long year but I left. and let me tell you, leaving the army was the best thing I’ve done.
