have rainbow hair

So I decided once to colour my hair rainbow colours, for fun and also coz i was going to a gay pride parade and i thought it would be both fun and appropriate.

Sharpie markers, the coloured ones, work really well for colouring your hair. The colour goes on easily and comes out totally in 2 or 3 days…temporary, cheap, and easy. Just takes a bit of time, depending on how much hair you have, and how many friends you have colouring.

Only cons are
-it comes off on stuff like walls, sheets, etc, so be careful what you rub up against or lie on till you’ve washed your hair a few times. put a dark t shirt over your pillow case at night.
-it takes a bit of time. Having friends help you colour sections is a good idea.

But yeah, i did it the night before, it worked wonderfully well, (helped by the fact i had short hair) and i had a great time.

I dyed my hurr rainbow finally! It was amazing. I felt like I was fameous sometimes. I’d have people come up to ask for my picture. I loved the attention, I can not lie! haha. But yeah, I bleached and dyed it all by myself. ^_4 years ago

Took a while to get all the dye together, but it looks amazing right? They colors I used are:

violet: Special Effects in Wildflower
blue: Via in Deep Indigo
teal: half Beyond the Zone in Huckleberry Blue, half BTZ in Midnight Blue
green: Creative Image in Forest Green
yellow: Via in Gold
orange: Via in Pumpkin Patch
red: Via in Flame

I bleached it to Gwen Stefani blond with Loreal Quick Blue and 40-volume developer first. 5 years ago
