I figured a helicopter would be kind of the same sensation as flying in a plane…WHOA…WAY OFF. It was kind of nauseating and scared the crap outta me for the first couple minutes. Definitely not a smooth flight but I would still recommend it to anybody. Being able to see your city from that point of view is incredible. I’ve never seen anything like it. Try and find the best price you can though…a lot of companies way overcharge for a helicopter ride.

For the Fourth of July this year, my boyfriend and I spent the week in Pigeon Forge, TN. This is right after our 2 year anniversary, and so as an extra present to me, he took me for a helicopter ride. I’m scared to death of heights (I can’t even ride a ferris wheel) but this was AMAZING!! The view was beautiful and it was a smooth ride. I would recommend this to anyone, espeically if you’re trying to be romantic and sweet.

Astar13 is rethinking her entire list!
I took my boyfriend for a helicopter ride for his birthday, and in the spirit of conquering my fears, I went along for the ride. It was fabulous! We took off from Georgetown, a south Seattle suburb, and our pilot was this awesome little Japanese lady. Very sweet and funny, she certainly made our trip fun.
It was kind of pricey, but I think overall, a good experience!
My friend went on a helicopter ride once and said it was amazing to see what everything looks like from that height. I would love to fly in one.
