This was fittingly beautiful finish to my whirlwind tour through twentieth century jazz. I love this album. On to the next 100!

I have listened to a dozen or so albums in the past month. I want to be more systematic about this project. If I want to absorb this wonderful music, I will have to invest time and attention every day to this goal. Here are some pathways…

1. Make a list on the “List-of-Bests” website to track my progress
2. Devote a few hours each week exclusively to listening—in the dark with no distractions
3. Read the “What to Listen for in Jazz” book
