be a good role model

I want to be a good role model to my little sister and all of my younger cousins. I want to show them that they can do anything they set their minds to. Nothing should hold them back, whether it be family, friends, or self doubt. I love each and every one of them and I want to be there for them for mental support and advice.

be proud, kind, positive, polite, calm, giving, confident, strong, reliable, fun and believe in myself so they learn to believe in themselves.

I want to be a good role model for younger people.

My name is Alyssa Hall. I am 14 years old and my birthday is March 26, 1993. I love singing and acting. I have been watching Disney since I was two years old. I watch every single show on it and i love everyone of them. I met Emily Osment and Hilary Duff, thats about it. I always picutre myself like I am on the show, I have plenty of good ideas for the show if i can get on at least one of them I can help you out. Also, I don’t want to become famous so I can be popular or for the money, I want to be a good role model for kids. Britney and Paris are not good role models and I think I can be one. Thats all I really care about is other people.

I want to set a good example to my nieces & nephews. There are a lot of options out there & they can be & do anything they want!

I’m going to encourage them to persue an education, to do everything that they believe to be right, to stay true to themselves, and most importantly, to know Christ as their Lord, Savior, and best friend.

check this goal off too. I mean, how many times have I been told I’m a good role model? I mean, I shouldn’t ever stop being one but I want it off my list because its not so much of a goal anymore, just the way I live I guess, but I’m definitely not perfect. I guess that’s what makes a role model- someone who tries their best but can still admit when they mess up or do something wrong. I think that’s the hardest part.

(thusly, i must be doing something right! Way to go me!!)
i know i’m not perfect but this is a good place to start. my continued optimism, doing the next right thing, and staying sober will be great helps in doing this goal!

I”ve been an excelent role model at my job. Showing the other employess what needs to be done.

i was debating getting some ben & jerry’s.
I thought to myself, i need a good role model to help me understand why this is a bad choice.
then, i thought… why not be my own role model? Why not be who I really want to be?

My own traits/values that i’d like to have (in order to be the good role model) are:
*healthy eating and exercising habits
*positive attitude
*goal-oriented
*kind, caring, loving
*actively involved in my recovery
*can hold a job!
*comfortable in own skin!
*Happy with appearance.
