Take the kids camping.

I’m so going to do this!

The kids are off School for 6 weeks so I guess now is as good as time as any. The weather is good and I think that it is more likely to go smoothly now then at any other time.

My aim is to do it the weekend of the 23rd, 24th, 25th. That way it fits in with my work committments too. We’ll be back for the Australia Day celebrations too.

Now I just have to find a location!

That said – the relay for life is in a few months. Maybe I can test the boys tent prowless then.

so I’ll take them myself! I think it’d be fun – I have done it before but never tried it alone….

We’re going on holiday to the seaside for a week in june, staying in a caravan. It’ll be like camping but i guess it doesn’t really count. I think it needs a tent. Well my dad seems more keen this year so if the rain ever stops we might go for 1 night sometime.

Well, i’ve arranged it with my dad. We’re going camping, when it’s warm obviously!

It’s strange cos people keep trying to talk me out of it, my mum says ‘you wont like it’(she managed not to throw in a ‘mark my words’ but that’s definitely what she meant) but really, we’re only going for one night!!! It’ll be an adventure!

I am really not a big camping fan. I don’t particularly like bugs or sleeping on the floor but I really want to take my girls camping. It’d be so much fun. I’ll try to be very positive about the whole experience, even the bugs.
