Worth doing!
For the first time in my life, I actually started and completed a scrapbook! I told my two sisters, oldest daughter, and a friend to Disneyworld in May 2004. I had recently returned from a year in Iraq and I wanted to do something that I’d always wanted. I focused on that one album for several months and completed it without working on any other pages. I think that a theme/travel album is the easiest to complete because it has a defined start and finish to it and you know what’s in the middle. I love the book and my daughters love to flip through it still.
3 months in and I am on Day 15 of a 90 day trip, why oh why did I take so many photos?...
i have the pictures…but i need to get the books, and everything else for scrapbooking….
Kimberly is starting a new phase
I have the scrapbooks, I have the pictures selected, backgrounds selected, layout done, all necessary items in the pages they are supposed to go and in order. Now if I would just finish the pages already!!
Worth doing!
I contacted a scrapbook professional and asked her to help me quickly complete a book, I gathered my pics spent about 3-4 hours with her and the next day in 2 hours or so finished it. Planning ahead made a big difference.
I’ve had one going for 11 months now, and it’s never ending.
I took an old book i found, written in japanese(a language i will probably never learn) and just started writing in it one day.
ever since then all kinds of things have gone into it: from paint and pictures, to stories and ticket stubs. i cant wait to finish it and start a new one.
