Discaimer Back in business
Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. If I play twice a week through the summer I’ll call this goal done and replace it with, “Get better at Disc Golf”.

bethieb enjoying the sunshine!
I could easily ride my bike over there and give it a try. Both of my wrists are fused because of RA, but I figure I don’t have to be any good at this. It’s for fun and a little exercise. Right

In two years .I quit cigarettes so I could breathe well enough to play , damnit I’m playing . We still haven’t had two consecutive days of Spring . It was too cold and too windy, the real baskets weren’t even up on my favorite course . I played the improvised ones , 18 holes , I even parred one .
rogerlee cant remember the color of her eyes, just the shape of her dress
i love disc golf…the only problem is the course here sucks and its the only one close…maybe i’ll just travel the country with no money like a disc golf hippie

I’ve been carving out time to play 2 – 3 times a week for the last two months, at different courses. My drives are definitely improving, still not practicing putting enough to really help much. I think playing different courses forces development of different shots. The course closest to home is pretty open, so I tend to throw the same shot on many of the holes.
Sank 2 discs in Lake Shawnee last night. Oh well, at least I didn’t step in any holes!!
in Canton with my buddy and we both lost a disc on the same hole. :(
about 2-3 times per week. I think I’m improving a little and i’m starting to make a few friends who are into the sport. I’m going with one of my old college roommates tomorrow.
and played all 18 holes last night. We bought a couple of different drivers and it helped us be able to make the longer throws much better. For now I think we’re okay on equipment and just need to focus on learning technique. Some people carry around 20 discs and to me that seems like overkill. I’m happy with 2 for now…plus I don’t have to carry around that heavy bag all over the course.
we played at a new-to-us course in Hudson, OH it’s a beautiful course and a good course to learn on (not a lot of heavily wooded areas to lose a disc in). We played the back 9 holes and are thinking about playing the front 9 sometime this week.
in Medina, OH on Saturday. It was fun. We played 13 of 18 holes as we’re learning the first time you play at a course it takes a little longer to find your way around. We got tired before we could finish playing. It was pretty hot out.
