I won two tickets to go an see Beyonce with a friend at The O2 Arena in London on the 15th November.
How I did it: Hollie and I bought Halle tickets to P!nk for her birthday and after 6 months of planning (About 4 of which were in secret) it was finally the day
The whole day was amazing. The people there were funny and nice, the concert hall looked amazing, we were standing right up against the barriers and that meant we were less than a metre away from our idol :)
P!nk is a really good concert choice, just a tip, she sings better in live shows :) She connects with the crowd too, it's really sweet XD

I have entered a competition to win 4 front row tickets at a Beyonce concert on November 15th. This particular concert is hosted by Trident Gum, you can only attend if you win tickets. Its at the O2 arena.
By doing this will also allow me to achieve another goal, ‘Have More Money’
I did have tickets for the MICHAEL JACKSON TOUR here in London, but sadly he died. I really wanted to go, one of my goals was to see or even meet Michael Jackson.

I’ve NEVER been to a concert. I live next to 2 or 3 concert venues too! Doesn’t help I’m perpetually broke, but that’s aside from the point. This is definitely something I want to say I’ve done. In fact, I’m going to make a list of bands and such that I like, and check out when they’ll be in town. :D
Gonna go see James Morrison this year with my Friend, it should be good :)

...is still sitting on my desk. Before I throw it away (yes, I will throw it away, I promise), I thought I’d google for the image printed in the program to illustrate the finale of the concert, and I found the image here, along with some interesting information about the original performance.
The illustration, by Raoul Dufy, is of a scene from Le Boeuf sur le Toit (The Nothing Doing Bar), Op. 58, by Darius Milhaud, performed as a piano duet at our concert, but originally performed as a Brazilian-inspired ballet in Paris. Our program listed the following scenes:
I find the image reminiscent of the work of our own dear Paris-loving ratunderpaper. Or maybe vice versa. Could it be that Rat is channelling the artistic spirit of Raoul Dufy?
So Worth It!!!! I love the piano and I love his music. It was the concert of a lifetime. It felt great to see him live. He sounds better live too :) He sang and played that piano like his life depended on it. He started in a 3 piece suit and ended up in a vest and his pants on stage. After doing his set and he said his goodbyes he left the stage and we started heading to the exit when we heard screams…he reappeared on stage and said he forgot something and did “Ordinary People” and closed with my favourite “Refuge”...I almost fainted..literally!
He promised to be back and I’ll so go to see him again and again!

...outdoors here on the lawn of an old Southern mansion that is now a public library. They’ve been having a summer series of free concerts here for 55 years now, but this is the first time I’ve attended.
Beautiful piano music too, especially a lush and haunting version of Debussy’s Clair de Lune. I’m thankful that I had the opportunity to attend.
I finally did this, and it was definitely $39 well spent! It was an awesome night, although the bands performing weren’t particularly well-known I had an amazing night and enjoyed myself immensely.
I have a ticket to a concert in Jan next year so I can count this as “done” pretty soon! Very excited. :)
