I’ll be able to take my girl and her friend, and M and her mom to the beach late this summer. A girl’s weekend—how great is that??
How I did it: well my boyfriend and i were at home bored so we decided to have an adventure in my huge yard. we ended up on the other side of my pond and found my old boat and wanted to go in it! it was turned upside down and my dog was sniffing around under it and we heard something move, we thought my dog found a little rabbit or squirrel or fox living under there so zenon lifted up the boat for my dog to go under and find out what it was! i thought this is silly there is going to be a hobo or something bad under it. anyways he lifts it up and my dog runs under and immediatly runs back out, i scream skuuuuuuuunk start running away and zenon makes sure my dog is clear of the boat and throws it down, the skunk sprayed us but mainly my dog, we ran back to the house laughing our faces off, then showered our faces off,,,,,

Shaw Nature Reserve. We haven’t been there in years. Our walk around the largest glade was very pleasant and pretty.

Note to self: Another good one to have would be to have a marguarita with a friend after work one day. I can’t remember when I last had a drink—years?

An unexpected trip to Hermann, Missouri. We were there mostly on business, but had some time to wander around the town, have lunch and a glass of wine at a winery, walk on the Katy Trail, and indulge in our rather luxurious accommodations.

I have a million and one adventures I want to do for the summer, when I have nothing more to do than have a million and one adventures. It warms my heart during this dark time of the dreaded last year and stress of the Leaving Cert. I just can’t wait!

Today I took a solo trip to the Butterfly House to learn more about taking pictures. And mostly learned that I have more to learn.
