top my class

The same thing happened to me last semester that happened to me on last year’s last progress report (the word last is beginning to sound strange). The highest was a GPA of 97; I had a 96. The highest right now is a 97, I’m still at 96! Hmm…sometimes a little effort is all you need. Just a little.

I just need to remind myself what it would mean to me if I could become valedictorian!

I’ll Now refer to my school weeks with the calender weeks. So I dont lose track. And I dont have to fuss over it.

Its sunday here. A sweet one too. All rainy and wet outside but I was having a sweet time hanging out with good old raphie. I bid him farewell and told him I had to go study. So here I am, at the dental library. Studying. :)

I still have to finish off my essay and assignment thingie from my research. I should probably get around to doing that. Sort of soon. Not today tho I dont feel like it. Today is dedicated to my studies and thats that. Another week at the D school here I come!

Wednesday Week 10

Argh! Wow. I m really really starting to get a hang of this. I know for a fact that I m better at the practical stuff than some of the theory monsters in our class. Infact today I saw a custom tray which was just so horribly done! And we are gonna be sent into a hospital this year for placement!! haha! Lol. I saw my first paediatric patient yesterday. Which was super exciting. I think I work well with kids. Today I saw my first geriatric patient for the year, which was exciting. I m 1/8ths of the way to giving her a full upper denture and a partial lower. Mmm.. I went to all my lectures today! I even came back to school after lunch and finished off the lab work for those custom trays. So I m super excited! :) life’s good.

Wow Friday Afternoon finished with a bang. I did a complex composite restoration in my patient. Its so satisfying. The tutor was extremely pleased! :) Im going out and getting drunk tonight aye. See how it goes!! :)

I am now OFFICIALLY in fourth year. Infact I start on Monday! :) Fuck yeah. And so the game begins.

let alone topping the class.. i still have two exams to clear before i can get into fourth year.. both of them are nxt week.. im freaking out! :(

i have to head back home do my summer studentship, find a new place to live, take care of my lil brother and somehow pass my exams not to mention hook up with raphael… lord help me!

toughest year yet. quite an unrealistic goal. but miracles arent unheard of! :)

I have no idea if topping the class is something I can do, or even into the process of accomplishing it.

But I guess, nothing comes easy and I suppose the only way is through sweat and blood.
