Spring semester starts on Jan. 20!
Yeah Boy! LOL! I’m halfway through, and the first semester was not as bad as I thought. I made friends, and learned who to hang with and who to avoid. The first semester went by so fast,
which gives me assurance that I can survive the second semester. Although everyone who entered entries on this “thing” have done this, and gotten past it, I still want to journal, as reading the other entries gives me encouragement, and my own entry might give some other freshman next year, or even this year, encouragement. Anyway, I’m halfway through, and time flies swiftly; I’ll soon be FINISHED!
Until next time,
LIVIN4CHRISTIt just started. Everything is going kind of good, and most of the nervousness has dissipated. I am starting to make new friends and I’m loving it. Now, I’m not saying that it is perfect, but then again, nothing is that good when you first start. Academically, I don’t know, for this is only the second week.
i have 2 more finals and then im done. this year was really great, met great people, did great things. i don’t know why i was so scared.
First semester terrifying.
Second semester…..amazing.
Join groups, teams, clubs, anything to find people with your common interests.
I started out this year scared and alone, basically ditched by everyone from grade school. But I stayed optimistic and saw what I wanted to become and went for it. I found happiness, LOVE (omg can you believe it?, i can’t!), and friendships. I also got a 4.0 GPA~! Bring it on Sophomore year, i’ll kick your ass too!
Tomorrow is my last day as a Freshman in High School. Yeah, it was a lot harder than Middle School, but I really liked it. New School, more class choices…I’m really going to enjoy my last day tomorrow!
I’ll miss being a Freshie
soo…when i started freshman year of high school…i was horrified. not only was i attending a new school, but i was attending a private high school for the first time in my life. Of course, having grown up in public schools, i had heard horror stories of what the big, bad, upperclassmen do to measly little freshmen…especially new comers. well, i was armed with an attitude a mile wide and, of course, my crew from the hood, should anybody mess with me. turns out, i needed none of the above. My freshman year was great, school was naturally hard but people were really nice. as the year progressed i learned who to trust, who to talk to and who to avoid. turns out surviving freshman year was more of wishing freshman year wouldn’t end. i look back on it now and wish i were still there. i freaked out over every exam and realise now that the time to freak out is junior year exams. So, freshman, relax and enjoy yourselves. it only gets harder.
Freshman year for me was very tough! Along with just moving in to HS, i lost a few close people in my life. I am a sophmore now and i can deff relate to the friend issues because trust me, they don’t end now! But you will learn who you can trust and who you get along with and once you know that.. it’ll be great =]
The first quarter is over with. It has been hell. Hopefully, things will get better.
Ugh. Damn it.
