decorate my room to look more like me

Moving in to my dorm I decorated exactly how I want to and it so cute and most of all ME! This goal is officially done!

I just bought this creme colored comforter with a gold and brown design on it. Soon I am going to get ride of the pink color my parents painted my room a few years a go. I will paint it a light tan color with gold in it. I can’t wait till its all finished. Hopefully by Thanksgiving when all my family comes down.

Makes a total difference to waking up in the morning and going to bed at night. Feeling comfortable in your own space is so important i think.

im moving house in a week and atm i dont know wat my room looks like!! my theme colours are black, mirone (yeah i cant spell), and gold or white (havnt decided). i dont really know what to do though:(

Did a bit extra than I had planned:
-Cut a colorful sock and put it around my desk lamp.
-Filled clear bottles with colored water and put them on my windowsill.
-Put an obi from Japan around a bamboo stick and hung it on the wall above my mirror.
-Organized my drawers using shoeboxes to sort.
-Wrapped some big shoeboxes in wrapping paper and magazine clippings to store all sorts of stuff.
-Put bead/clips around the strings of my blinds.
-Made colorful fans out of paper and taped them all over my walls.

The only thing left to do is frame a really cool picture of my friends and I and then hang it above my keyboard. Then I’ll count this as done. =D

1. -Finish the border of pictures around my mirror.-
2. -Wrap up some shoe boxes with wrapping paper and use them for storing stuff.-
3. -Get some curtains…or do something with the blinds on my window. (I put up a noren that I got in Japan)-
4. -Hang up a collage I just finished.-
5. Make one of the corners of my room a “lounging” corner, hopefully with a bean bag!
6. -Put some sort of cloth or filter over my desk light.-
7. -Clean out some of my shelves and closet and find a place to store my “childhood stuff”.- (unintentionally I did this for a garage sale and just kept going through my whole closet)

I decorated a little bit for Christmas by printing out, coloring, and folding up three hexagon shaped ornaments and hanging them with floss so they hang in my doorway. They are each different styles of red and green.

I put Cd covers on one of my walls, and got a red curtain. I put bunches of pillows on my bed, and I moved my crap off my beautiful piano. my room is tiny but its SO me now! And I’m not even done yet.

well thats my room and its soooo ME! i love it!

The walls of my room are blue so I think I’ll contrast everything with dark blues and forest greens and lime greens and turquoise colors. And a bit of purple too.
