After 8 days of exercise, I missed a day – BOOO!!!
First night-shift really knocked my body around!! I got home from work at 9:30am by which stage I’d been awake for 24 hours. Fell asleep and didn’t wake up until 8pm – when I had to start getting ready for work again. Oooops!!
Actaully you know what, I’m not going to start again over again on this. Sure my challenge rules say I can only skip a day if I work more than 15 hours, but this is another exceptional circumstance. Working night-shift is not kind to the body!
It’s also mucking up my eating habits. I find I’m only eating one proper meal a day at about 8:30pm. Around 5-6am I try to have a muffin that I bring with me to work. When I get home in the mornings that is still keeping me pretty full and all I want to do is fall asleep!!

I was really happy to find I didn’t have to slow and walk during the jog (not even on the hills). Last time I went jogging – well over a month ago, maybe even two – I remember having to walk three times. I felt like I could have gone for longer as well, had I wanted to. My other excercise must be having an impact on my cardio fitness – yay!!
Walk up and down the Sublime Point track
It sure was steep: in 1km you ascend 415m! Breathtaking views from the top however, so well worth it!
30 min walk
Granted it was to the shops to buy food & wine, but it was still a a walk! I did toy with the idea of being lazy and driving, but I didn’t want to start over again in this challenge so soon!!!
