Whenever my cousin and I got together, we’d spend HOURS on end playing with his Wii. Now that I live across the country, I’m hoping that buying myself a Wii will ease the homesickness a little.

I’m coming into some money soon (gasp!), so I think I’ll make this happen. I wish the wii system came in a set WITH the wii fit board. I saw some ‘sets’ on ebay, but I don’t know if I want to risk it. I just want it all…but I’ll be happy with whatever I get! :-)

we got one about 3 weeks ago. We got a Wii with 2 controllers 2 nunchucks, and 4 games for $399, not bad at all! It was a bundle they had at BJ’s wholesale. The games we got vary in price at different places, so we figured it all up and we saved almost $50 if we do the lowest prices for the games and controller and everything…pretty awesome!

I still have my NES, and it runs like a champ. My brother gave me his old Play Station 2, and I give a whirl every now and then…BUT then I played Rock Band, and had a great time…AND then I played the fun little games like bowling and darts, and had a great time.
I want one of for the reason of pure game playing pleasure. :)

I guess I’m a sucker for cute. I’ve semi-kinda wanted one for so long. The little Miis are adorable, and the Wii Fit seems like a really good idea. Also, ANIMAL CROSSING! I love that game so much, and there’s one coming out for the Wii called City Life and…yeah. I want a Wii.

I sat out on launch night in front of a Target in order to get one of these, and initially it was fun, but without a party atmosphere, random waggling of a controller in my apartment isn’t really a fun way of playing games. The system has way too much shovelware, and the “blockbuster” titles are really lacking, either in the single play experience (Metroid Prime 3, Mario Galaxy) or require others to play with (Mario Kart, Super Smash Brothers Brawl)
