(What is RSS?)Actually this book, The Secret Life of Bees, is on the Book Crossing list not on the original list. But I think I will combine the two lists.
I really liked this book. I am a beekeeper and I love to read about other people who love bees. I also like a good triumphant book, where the heroine turns out to be okay.
I highly recommend this book.
I finished the Glass Menagerie last night. It was depressing. Although I am glad that Tom left.
I read a book one time about the top works recommended to in-coming college freshmen. They had done a survey of tons of Colleges and Universities and come up with the Top 100 list of recommended works. Much to my dimay, I had only read about 2 of them. I started going down the list and read some really great books and plays including; Dantes Inferno, Solomon Song by Toni Morrison, and one by Willa Cather that I can’t remember to name of. Then came Don Quixote. This tome shut me down, it was so boring I wanted to poke my eyes out. And I have not read another book from that list since. I want to go back to that list and start again.
