How to write a Living Will!

How I did it: I sat down with my best friend PJ who I decided to grant my power of attorney to. I chose him for a multitude of reasons, the main ones being that I am not married, my family and I have a different set of beliefs and I know he would be completely unbiased and would follow my wishes whether he agrees with them or not. We discussed everything I needed to do from whether to recieve life support, what to do with my organs and other useful medical information.
After we decided that I was ready to get the papers signed and both of us were content with the knowledge that my decision was a good one, I met up with a man from my church congregation who is a Tallahassee Legal Documents Attorney. We scheduled an appointment and then went down to his office where I filled out all the necessary paperwork, specifics and had it signed and notarized so that it would qualify as a legal binding document
Lessons & tips: Pick someone to be your Power of Attorney that you would trust with your life, will be unbiased and stick to your wishes. I honestly don't suggest a husband or wife because of the small chance that they may kill you and then refuse an autopsy that might prove it. But that's just my opinion.

I don’t want to hire a lawyer for this since that cost money.

...and most of the decisions made. All I really need to do is fill out the important parts and make photocopies. With signatures it’s done, which is easy.
And the Peace of Mind it would lend my family and friends would be great.
