When you are so busy at work you don’t have time to make phone calls or go online.
I managed to pay the water bill off
Tax and mot my car but now I need a new one
I’ve given £100 a week to both my sons over the last 3 weeks because they have had money problems.
I contributed to the party after the christening
This week I have my grandsons 2nd birthday then following that I need to pay for accommodation for my friends wedding blessing

I have an overdraft facility that I’m always going in to, and to add to this I owe friends about 300 pounds.

I’ll pay off my friends first, then tackle the overdraft.

I aim to clear my debts in the next 3 months. 3 months ago

This is well on the way. Hopefully I can clear off the last of my CC debt in January when I get paid and the loan by May.

I really want to get in front of my finances before the second half of the year and start saving money for some big upcoming expenses in the future. 4 months ago

We seem not to be any further forward and have struggled with debts for nearly 2 years now. My husband just buries my head in the sand.
After negotiations broke down with a local authority over non payment of council tax I was faced with bailiff action. Mum came to the rescue and paid my bill off.
Now I am just in debt to my mum 7 months ago

I am much more careful with how I utilize money now. I focus on payments needed when they come in but all those debts that we have just got totally behind with I have managed to negotiate paying £1 per month until we get financially stable again.

I have no luxuries except to travel home and see my children. 16 months ago

It’s an ongoing process but I have learnt al lot of the last year and have also spoke to some good advisors.

I have sometimes thought about going to desperate measures but have managed to stay level headed…..so.far! 16 months ago
