Or rather, my old boyfriend did it. In March, he bought me a bikini, just as he promised to when I started losing weight. And I look terrific in it!
I have 3 timelines:
3 weeks: gain shape
3 months: fit into a nice dress
6 months+: get bikini ready, splits
Here are my new goals:
-work out everyday
-continue with the predawn workouts
-walk as much as possible
-hold stretches for 30s each
-add sport clubs
-add variety to my diet, stop eating bought junk
My big obstacle will be accomplishing this under stress…

Getting fit isn’t something you just do once and then you’re done with it, as we all know. I’m trying to keep my fitness, therefore I look for motivation where I find it.
I like the way this “Thing” is worded. Compared to other fitness-tagged Things. Achieving this goal requires more than just fitness. It requires self confidence. I know women with beautiful bodies who don’t think they’re “good enough” for a bikini. As a small-breasted woman, I used to fear my figure would never be “good enough.” Now, I’m old enough to appreciate what I’ve got. It still looks good, especially when I keep good upper body tone. I don’t think I’ve ever looked better than I do now and I would proudly wear a bikini.

I’m already on my way to getting a nice bikini body. I read in a magazine yesterday that bending and twisting activities really work the midsection.
Boy did I bend and twist all over today! I went salsa dancing for about two and a half hours in this under-ventilated room. We learned how to twist and shake and gyrate parts in ways I didn’t think could move like that. I had so much fun.
I’ve found the schedule of some of the classes for some of the dance classes on campus. I can really see myself enjoying these classes. Who knew exercise could be so fun!
