I played the african drums for a year and a bit. I miss it terribly, so for me, its to get back into it.

For christmas this year I got Vic Firth headphones to play drums with. :]
I just got to try them out today.
They are comfortable, loud, and makes your drums sound nice.

So I have really started playing a lot more.
I am getting really motivated every time I play.
I love to learn new stuff…it is a lot of fun. :]

My drums are at my friends house in the garage, my band practices there almost every week.
in the shed

so my drums are in the shed – we just hads the shed built, and there’s not much room to be honest to even set them up; but I’m in a band and I need to get better. Fortunately the other musicians in the band are really talented and thisa helps give me some impetus.
maybe I should buy an electronic kit so I can practice in the nice, warm spare room, and no-one can hear me
